Lisa Fan is a senior majoring in Political Science and minoring
in Economics at Wellesley College. At GOV/LAB, Lisa is examining government
accountability actors, as well as citizen engagement and voter behavior in East
Africa. She spent her junior year studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics
at the University of Oxford. Over the summer, Lisa interned at Global Trade
Watch, a public interest group, and researched investment arbitration
provisions in trade agreements. Following graduation, she hopes to further
develop her research skills and interest in the global political economy by
pursuing graduate school in the future. Contact Lisa at yfan(at)wellesley.edu.

Soobean Jo is currently a sophomore at Wellesley College,

East Africa. Aside from academics, Soobean volunteers at Mission Hill Afterschool
