Cory is the Senior Innovation Strategist at MIT GOV/LAB, where she conducts research and strategy development on governance innovation initiatives. Bringing experience in public sector innovation and humanitarian response, Cory explores ways in which governments can innovate to support citizen needs. She draws on a multidisciplinary design background to integrate design practice and systems thinking into GOV/LAB’s work. Prior to joining GOV/LAB, Cory worked as a design and project management consultant with state and central governments in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. She holds an M.S. in Integrated Design and Management from MIT, a Master in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, and a B.A. in Economics from Mount Holyoke College.
