Graduate Research Fellow
Carla Garcia is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at MIT studying comparative politics and political economy. Her research interests include social movements, the politics of higher education, and public opinion, with a regional focus on Latin America. Before coming to MIT, Carla graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Political Science and a BS in Economics. She is a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and the APSA Diversity Fellowship.
