Siena was a Senior Research Support Associate at MIT GOV/LAB, where she pursued her interests in the political economy of development and the experiences of communities engaged in development programs. Before joining GOV/LAB full time, Siena worked with GOV/LAB on a field research project in Yucatán, México over the summer of 2017, and interned in the Political Economy and Governance sector at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) global office. Siena graduated from Wellesley College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Economics, with a focus on governance and development policy.
